From West Texas Roots to National Stages
Born and raised in Plainview, Texas, Joshua’s musical journey began early — cutting his teeth on tuba in school bands and developing an ear for rhythm and tone. After relocating to Oklahoma, he picked up the bass guitar in 2001 and quickly immersed himself in the local music scene. That path eventually led him to cross creative paths with Cody Jinks in 2005 — a collaboration that would go on to define much of his professional life.

Since officially joining Cody Jinks in 2007, Joshua has worn many hats: bassist, tour manager, booking agent, and, most notably, producer. He’s played a critical role in producing Jinks’ critically acclaimed projects, including the breakout Adobe Sessions — helping craft a sound that’s both raw and refined, grounded in country tradition but unafraid to explore.
